Runnebohm Receives ABC Award for Vitesse Corporation Project

Runnebohm Construction Company recently received a crystal Award of Excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Indiana for their recently completed Vitesse Corporation Headquarters and Aircraft Hangar project.

A new corporate headquarters and aircraft hangar completed this past June for the Vitesse Corporation was built at the Mount Comfort Airport. The new business involves a first class chartered airline service, a private jet ownership program, and a travel planning service for corporate clients. The building is accented by light gray columns and recessed windows and two entrances utilizing sixteen foot curved radius standing seam roof panels. In addition to the corporate offices, there is an attached aircraft hangar for the storage and maintenance of corporate and chartered aircraft. The hangar is a one hundred ten feet by one hundred sixty feet pre-engineered steel building that is thirty feet tall, and has a four panel single direction sliding door system that is eighty-five feet wide and twenty-two feet tall. Attached to the hangar is a fifteen hundred square foot lean-to for corporate and client vehicle storage.

ABC is a professional construction association representing contractors locally, statewide and nationally. The Indiana ABC represents over 400 member firms and is the only organization in the United States devoted exclusively to representing the interests of Merit Shop Contractors.
